I have been a photographer for over 20 years, after I trained with Patty Jones, a world renowned livestock photographer I did primarily livestock photography for the first 10 years of my photography career.
In 2002, My sister (Lexi) & Mom (Carol) and I founded Cowsmopolitan Dairy Magazine an All-Breeds Dairy Print Magazine, which was started with the support of the Western Canadian Dairy Breeders. We also launched a news website along side and grew our social media channels to provide dairy news coverage and a place for all breeds to advertise.
I provided a lot of the photography & the design for the magazine over the years, and provided photo training and support for our team. I designed our original html website from scratch and provided the direction for a lot our design content. In the Spring of 2019 we made the decision to sell Cowsmopolitan.
Post magazine I am looking back to my roots, continuing to photograph livestock, provide on farm & commercial photography for clients. I also enjoy family and kids portraiture and lifestyle & documentary photography. When I am not photographing you can find me behind my computer. I am a Photoshop junkie which fuels my passion for graphic design.
I grew up on a Registered Holstein Farm in Alberta, my parents & family’s passion for great cattle and showing livestock was passed along to me. My partner Sheldon & I and our son Oliver have Purebred Red Angus Cattle & we reside in Saskatchewan. I own some of my own cattle both Jerseys & Red Angus!
