Lakes & Beach: There is a beach about a 10 minute drive away in Invermere Lake Winderemere is 8 km north & Columbia Lake is 8 km. There is river rafting close by; whether you have your own raft and prefer meandering down a slow moving river through a golf course or for the more adventurous, booking with a touring company for some "wild water" rafting. Shopping and Dining: There are two shopping and dining areas within 8 km. from Crooked Tree, one being Fairmont Hot Springs and the other Invermere.
